01

The business and what it needed.

Summit Ledger is a CPA-led accounting practice for owner-led construction, real estate, and growth-focused businesses. The homepage places the practice in the Mountain West while making its cloud-based, nationwide reach clear.

The previous website did not clearly separate Summit Ledger from generalist accounting firms or show the team behind the advice.

02

The direction and why.

The top-level decision was to make the firm feel exact and steady without falling back on the usual navy-blue financial template. A deep green grid gives the page structure. The oversized headline makes the value proposition readable before any service detail competes for attention.

03

Specific decisions.

  1. 01
    Type as positioning

A wide, heavy sans serif carries the main claim. A quieter serif handles the supporting line, adding some warmth without weakening the precision of the page.

  2. 02
    Buyer-led navigation

Services, industries, locations, and resources are separated in the main navigation. That lets a visitor enter through the question they already have instead of reading a single long services page.

  3. 03
    Human proof early

An arched portrait, a compact team strip, and a local-reach note sit inside the hero. The people are visible before the visitor is asked to start a conversation.
