    We talk.

I learn what the business does, who it serves, and what the site needs to accomplish. A reply to my email is enough to start. We can move to a call if that’s useful.

  2. 02

    I build the demo.

It’s a real, working custom site. Not a mockup and not a template. It typically takes one to two weeks. You pay nothing at this stage, and you see the finished design before any money changes hands.

  3. 03

    We revise it.

We go through the demo together and refine what needs changing. Revisions usually take a few days to a week, depending on scope.

  4. 04

    We launch.

Once the site’s approved, I connect it to your domain and put it live. Payment’s usually due at launch.

The usual arrangement is simple.

I build the demo before you pay. You review the actual work, not a promise about what the work might become. For a standard project, payment’s due when the site is ready to launch.

Some features take substantial time before the rest of the site can be judged. If your project needs one, I’ll explain the work and agree on payment terms with you up front. There aren’t any surprise terms halfway through.
